Installation precautions
1. Professional operation: Replacing transmission seals usually requires disassembling the transmission or related components (such as oil pan, side cover, half shaft, etc.), involving professional tools and knowledge. It is strongly recommended to have experienced maintenance technicians operate
2. Thoroughly clean: Before installing new seals, the installation surface and grooves must be thoroughly cleaned to remove all old sealant, oil stains, and impurities, ensuring that the installation surface is smooth and flat.
3. Proper installation
Strictly install according to the specifications to avoid scratching, twisting, or excessive stretching of the seals.
When installing oil seals, the lip direction (facing the oil side) and installation depth are crucial.
For O-rings, ensure that the grooves are clean and there is no twisting or squeezing after installation.
When using sealant, apply an appropriate amount according to the instructions, evenly and continuously.
4. Lubrication: Before installation, apply clean transmission oil or specialized grease to the lip or O-ring surface of the seal to help with initial sealing and prevent dry wear damage.
5. Torque specification: When tightening bolts such as oil pan and side cover, it is necessary to use a torque wrench to tighten them in the order and torque value specified by the manufacturer, to avoid over tightening causing gasket deformation or shell cracking, and over loosening causing poor sealing.
6. Add oil: After the repair is completed, it is necessary to add new transmission oil that meets the specifications and the correct amount, and check if the oil level is normal.
Tip: Our automotive parts are suitable for most models on the market. If you need to place an order, please consult customer service.
